It's going to snow, that's not a secret. Old Man Winter is coming in with a Bang! As this major winter storm enters Iowa, folks throughout the rest of the state and in the Quad Cities are preparing for a bunch of snow to get dumped on us.
What we won't know for sure is how much snow we're going to get in the Quad Cities. To make this major winter storm a little more fun, we're giving you a chance to win concert tickets with the snow.
AJR is coming to Des Moines in April when there will (hopefully) be little to no snow on the ground. Before the snow starts falling in the Quad Cities, we're giving you a chance to guess our snowfall total to win tickets to their show.
Major Snow Storm To Dump a Lot Of Snow On The Quad Cities
Ahead of this major snowstorm, a Winter Storm Warning has been issued for all but seven counties in Iowa.
For the Quad Cities metro, we could see anywhere from 7-11 inches of snow or even a foot, according to the National Weather Service of Des Moines.

- Guess the total amount of snowfall in inches between 12 p.m. on Monday, January 8th, 2024, and 12 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 at the Davenport Airport and reported by the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities
- Guesses must be made in decimals (ex: 6.3 inches)
- Guesses must be made by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, January 8th, 2024.
- The winner will be selected on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024 at 12 p.m.
- The winner will be the person who guesses correctly or close to the exact snowfall total, over or under.
- In the result of a tie, a winner will be selected at random amongst those who tied.
