As the pandemic started closing things down in the early part of 2020, construction was getting nearly finished on a new facility in East Moline.  Talk about bad luck timing on that one.  If it wasn't for the Rona numerous events would have been held and you would already be familiar with the Bend XPO in East Moline.

Now it's time to discover this venue and all the uses for it.  (One of them we'll be involved with very soon!)  The Grand Opening of Bend XPO is Thursday, July 29th from 6:00 – 8:00pm.  There will be a live performance by 10 of Soul while you can explore everything that the Bend XPO offers to the Quad Cities..  Bend XPO is a multi-use venue with a footprint of 100,000 square foot which can host events of various shapes and sizes such as tradeshows, conferences, social events, and more.

The grand opening will also celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary of "The East Moline Community Fund".  The fund works to raise annual and legacy funds which benefit the community through grant awards for charities serving East Moline.  Since inception 10 years ago, donors have supported community projects such as the new East Moline Library, East Moline Main Street beautification, Christ United Methodist Church food pantry, and more.
