Hot Cocoa & Halloween Spirit At East Moline’s ‘A Haunting We Will Go’ This Friday
We're not too far from Halloween and East Moline is kicking off its celebration this Friday night.
'A Haunting We Will Go' will be Friday, October 21st from 4:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in downtown East Moline.
There will be all kinds of festivities, including a parade, costume contest, cookies & hot cocoa, a Dia de los Muertos event, a Monster Mash, more treats, and free pics for you in downtown East Moline.
That's not all either. According to the Facebook event, there will trunk or treating and also a zombie crossing at 7th Street, and the event will range over downtown East Moline, from Cones on the Corner to Juniors. The parade will start at 5:00 p.m. at Cones on the Corner.
You can also catch the movie "Under Wraps" at the East Moline Library.
The superheroes activities will be at Jaded Java, pumpkin activities will be at Craft Corner, The Palace will host the Monster Mash, Community Health Care will be set up with some treats, Dona Vitae will have cookies & cocoa (who doesn't love hot cocoa on a chilly October night?), the Dia de los Muertos celebration will be in the parking lot next to Runner's Park, and there will be even more treats at Olde Town Bakery. There's a building decorating contest going on for the downtown East Moline businesses too!
So many events will be going on in the QC for Halloween! As you're planning out where to take the littles, you can see some of the trunk or treat events here.
We'll see you at the B100 Halloween Ball on October 28th! Get your tickets here, as they're going fast!
