Hy-Vee Is Selling Limited Edition T-Shirts For Derecho Victims

Hy-Vee really wants to help make a difference and help out those that were severely impacted by the derecho. Hy-Vee is raising funds and awareness by selling limited edition shirts.

On Wednesday, Hy-Vee announced that it will be selling limited edition Raygun T-shirts at select Hy-Vee locations in Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. A portion of proceeds from the sales of the t-shirts will benefit victims of the derecho that caused severe damage in parts of Nebraska, majority of Iowa, and parts of Illinois.

$5 from each sale is going toward Hy-Vee’s philanthropic One Step program to benefit local residents who are still rebuilding and recovering from the recent derecho. T-shirts are currently available in select stores which include three Quad City locations. The t-shirts feature a variety of designs with phrases such as “Iowa Strong” and “Hurricane Derecho.”
