Illinois Litter Control Act Says No Grass Clippings in the Street

We've all done it. And, not only is it a terrible road hazard, in Illinois, it is also illegal.

I admit, I have blown grass clippings out into the street more times than I can remember. It never occurred to me that I was creating a road hazard, one that is very dangerous for motorcyclists.

If knowing that it's dangerous doesn't get you to change your habit, maybe the fact that it's illegal may do the trick.

The Illinois State Police took to Facebook to remind us of the state's Litter Control Act.
