Iowa 3rd Grade Teacher Awarded For Kindness, Caring, And More
It's the Fall 2024 semester and we are heading out to schools with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this week's teacher of the week!
This week, we went to Grant Wood Elementary in Bettendorf to surprise an amazing teacher.
Congrats to McKenna Olson, a 3rd-grade teacher at Grant Wood Elementary in Bettendorf!
To truly surprise Miss Olson, we did the QC Teacher of the Week presentation in front of her students during gym!
Theodore Lee, a student, and his mom nominated Miss Olson. This is what Theo had to say about his teacher:
Ms. Olson is kind, caring, responsible, respectful, safe, she very helpful and nice (theo's words). This is her first year of full time teaching and is doing a wonderful job creating a warm environment in her classroom. My son enjoys having her as his teacher this year so far. She let's the children express themselves and cares deeply for each and everyone of them. I hope she has the best 1st year!
Miss Olson was recognized because she truly is an awesome teacher and person! Awesome job, Ms. Olson!
For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Miss Olson has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack including stickers, a glass, and more, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes!
