Iowa Museum Adds Summer Camp To Help Kids Survive Zombies

There are three things in life all kids should know how to do before becoming an adult: how to save money, how to do laundry, and how to survive a zombie apocalypse in the event there ever is one.

Luckily for you parents out there, a museum in Iowa is adding a new full-day summer camp to teach your kids exactly that. They are adding another summer camp to teach kids how to become a master wizard.

Iowa Museum Teaches Kids The Right Stuff

The Putnam Museum (1717 W. 12th St., Davenport) is a fun place for kids of all ages. They have so many exhibits, camps, events, and demonstrations for kids and even adults to learn from.

A lot of the Putnam's summer camps, both half and full-days, are sold out. On Friday, they announced they are adding two full-day summer camps with very fun things.

The first one is Skills of Survival: Camp Z. This camp is to teach kids how to survive a zombie apocalypse. The camp starts July 24th and ends July 28th.

The second full-day summer camp is Wizardry & Magical Beasts. This camp, which starts August 7th and ends August 11th, will teach kids to what it takes to become a master wizard.

The price for each camper is $225 for members and $275 for nonmembers.

There are still plenty of spots open for the half-day camps. The price for half-day camps is $125 per camper that's a member, and $150 for nonmembers.
