Iowa Radio DJ Parodies Morgan Wallen After Postponing Show

I'm sure you've heard the news, Morgan Wallen isn't coming to the Quad Cities to the Vibrant Arena at The MARK this Friday night, April 28th. Everyone feels sad for themselves, sad for Morgan, and happy for their livers.

As a person who only has one vocal cord that works (I still have two, the right one is just chillin' there), I know all too well about losing your voice. To hopefully make Morgan and all of you who had plans to see him this Friday night feel a little better, I decided to parody his song "Last Night" and do my own version called "Not Coming Friday Night".

You've heard Morgan Wallen's "Last Night" on our radio station quite a bit I'm sure. It's a huge country crossover and trust me, we don't mind playing it.

Morgan is the biggest artist in country music right now. His One Night At A Time World Tour was one of the most anticipated ones for 2023 (besides Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour) and his shows are selling out at every single stop.

Over the weekend, Morgan canceled his concert in Mississippi last minute which made a lot of people upset. One lady tried to sue him over it. He had to cancel his show because he lost his voice and because of doctor-ordered vocal rest, he had to postpone three more shows, including his stop at the Vibrant Arena at The MARK in Moline, IL this Friday, April 28th.

Morgan will be in the Quad Cities on Friday, September 8th, 2023.
