Iowa Teacher Wins Award For Teaching Kindness, Bravery, And More
It's the Fall 2024 semester and we are heading out to schools with our awesome program with Nothing Bundt Cakes to honor and reward our awesome Quad Cities teachers and educators. It's called QC Teacher of the Week and we are so excited to announce this week's teacher of the week!
This week, we went to Hayes Elementary in Davenport to surprise an amazing teacher.
Congrats to Ashleigh Freymann, a 5th-grade teacher at Hayes Elementary in Davenport!
To truly surprise Miss Freymann, we did the QC Teacher of the Week presentation while her class was in their music block! She was brought down to be surprised!
Marysa Clark, a student, nominated Miss Freymann. This is what Marysa had to say about her teacher:
My teachers name is Miss Freymann. She teaches at Hayes Elementary School, and she teaches 5th grade. She is the best teacher because she is so kind and nice and amazing. She is also the best teacher because she teaches sooo much and she makes it fun! Her favorite colors are pink and yellow. Her classroom is so pretty, peaceful and calming. She has this thing called morning meeting and we answer questions about how to be kind, peaceful, nice, brave etc and I love it! I'm so happy when I walk in her room at the beginning of the day! I can't wait to see all the adventures that we will get to go on this year!!!!
Miss Freymann truly is an awesome teacher and person! Awesome job, Miss Freymann!
For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Miss Freymann has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack including stickers, a glass, and more, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes!
Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Miss Freymann!
