Kamdyn Goes To The Family Museum

For her second birthday which is this Thursday Kamdyn got a membership to the Family Museum in Bettendorf from Katie's parents. I can already tell my wife and I will be spending a lot of time there this year. I haven't been to the Family Museum in years, since my older daughter Kaitlyn was 7 or 8.

If you have a toddler the Bettendorf Family Museum is great because there are so many things to do. There is a vet clinic your child can pretend to take care of their favorite pets, sit behind the wheel of a fire truck, check in packages at the post office or even check out shoppers at the grocery store. The detail in each of the locations is impressive.

There are several other fun things to do at the Family Museum including running around on the mini bridges or sliding down the tree slide and maybe best of all is the giant touch activated piano in the lobby. Kamdyn took a minute to figure out that she was making the noises by stepping on the piano keys. If you have a toddler or child under 10 a Family Museum membership would be a great idea. One trip was all I needed to re-discover that. With many updates and fun things to do, the Family Museum in Bettendorf is one more thing that makes me glad I live in the QCA.
