Mermaids: Real Or Fake

According to KFSN TV Fresno, A woman in Fresno, California was found walking down the street soaking wet and nearly naked yesterday morning.

When police picked her up and took her in for questioning, she told them her name was Johanna and she was a mermaid!

She had webbed toes on both feet and had clearly been in the water, but didn't know any more than her name.

Could mermaids really exist? Some believe they do. I remember seeing a special on The Discovery Channel about mermaids. Could Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" actually exist or is Hollywood re-booting "Splash?"
