Another Quad Cities restaurant closes citing struggles during the coronavirus.

Mex-2-Go announced on Friday on their Facebook page that they are closing for good. Located right across the street from B100 on Brady Street in Davenport, Mex-2-Go had a walk-up and drive-thru building along with a food truck.

Mex-2-Go said on Facebook,

Well guys, we tried... we hung in there as long as we possibly could. This COVID-19 pandemic has hit many small locally-owned businesses hard, and we are unfortunately one of them. It is with heartfelt sadness and frustration that we are announcing we must close our doors permanently. Today (Friday, April 10th) will be our last day.

They continued to thank patrons for their support over the years. The announcement concluded with a light remarking saying,

We’re gonna go shelter in place and have a few dozen tequila shots to drown our sorrows.

Mex-2-Go has already taken down its signs at their location on Brady Street.
