If you're looking to get the kids out of the house, learning, and having fun, there are still some spots left for the Niabi Zoo's 2021 summer camp. The camp's theme this year is Celebrating Biodiversity and will teach kids how plants, animals, and ecosystems all work together and rely on each other.

The Niabi Zoo is gearing up for the return of their Summer Zoo Camp. The Niabi Zoo has a few spots left for kids to join in on the summer fun.

The Niabi Zoo is very excited for the second half of the Summer Zoo Camp because it will be in person with the kiddos! The first age group and sessions begin on Monday, July 12th for the 4-5-year-old age group.

According to a newsletter I received on Wednesday, the Niabi Zoo says during the Summer Zoo Camp,

"...They will learn how nature is interconnected through Earth’s biological diversity. Each age range focuses on a different building block that comes together to form the amazing planet we call home."

Each camp is five days and will have interactive learning experiences, hands-on activities, special zoo tours, up-close animal encounters and will be distinctly different for each age group.

There are two camp sessions per day during each age group camp. They are the same sessions in the morning and the afternoon. If your kid wants to join in on the fun of the Niabi Zoo Summer Zoo Camps, they only need to do the morning or afternoon session.

The cost for the Summer Zoo Camp is $100 for Zoo Members and $125 for Non-Members.

Niabi Zoo officials say that each child should bring a refillable water bottle and a mask. Masks are required for everyone when indoors, in a crowd, or feeding giraffes. Masks are not required when outside but the kiddos are asked to social distance.

Registration fees for the Summer Zoo Camp are non-refundable. The camp will happen rain or shine.
