If you're even a little Irish, or "Irish-ish", or just straight-up like to party, there's a crapload of things to do in the Quad Cities for St. Patty's weekend.

First and foremost, is the multi-city St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, March 12th. The route starts at 11:30am on 4th Avenue in Rock Island, and works its way through downtown Rock Island before crossing over Centennial Bridge and down 3rd street in Davenport.

Then, it's time to party.

Possibly the biggest party of the weekend will be at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, where we'll be at the St. Patrick's Day Bash! Bands, Flying Leprechauns, a roadside circus, food vendors, kids zone, and ANOTHER parade at 3:15. Doors open at 11 am, the perfect timing to head up after the parade downtown is over.

At 10am in Davenport, is 40th Annual Casi's St. Patrick's Day 5K Race.

Over in Rock Island, Kavanaugh's Sham Rockin Paddy O Party is kicking off at "2ish" and will run until "10ish." Two great bands playing, great food, and of course, booze.

The USA Dance Shamrock Party kicks off at 7pm with a Foxtrot lesson, with social dancing taking place from 8-10:30pm, at the Silver Spur Dance Hall in East Moline.

These events are just few of many that are making the Quad Cities a must-try for St. Patrick's Day.

If none of these appeal to you, just head downtown in any city you're in and look for the biggest party tent you can find. You're sure to have a great time you'll only remember some of.

Or, try one of these pubs.
