The Diner In Davenport Is Closing

Last week on Thursday, The Diner located at the Freight House in downtown Davenport announced plans on its social media page plans to close up shop at the 421 W. River Drive location. The social media post, shared by hundreds of fans and followers, reads:

The social media post above saying they "will be announcing our closing here very soon!", makes the final day of The Diner unclear but it feels like it might be extremely soon. The good news is that the restaurant is open this week.

In another announcement from The Diner via social media, the brunch spot in downtown Davenport said that it will be open this weekend from Oct. 18-20.

The Diner will be open those three days but with a limited menu. As it says in the post, they invite customers to come have one last hoorah and thank everyone for their support.

The Diner opened its doors at the Freight House back in late 2018.
