Final New Spooky Fun Event Is This Friday In Eastern Iowa
During the month of October, there has been spooky, family-friendly fun going on at a popular spot in eastern Iowa. This Friday is your last chance to check out what's going on before spooky season is officially over.
As long as the weather holds out and you don't have a babysitter to attend the biggest Halloween costume party in the Quad Cities, make sure you attend the final Freight House After Dark in downtown Davenport.
New Spooky Family-Friendly Event In Davenport
This Friday, the City of Davenport is hosting its final new family-friendly event in downtown Davenport to cap off the spooky season.
Every Friday in October (except on Friday, Oct. 13 due to the weather), there is some awesome spooky fun that's free and family-friendly.
Fright House After Dark is the City's newest event series that's been going on at the Freight House and LeClaire Park this October. Fright House After Dark has featured signature activities, food vendors, music, fall activities, face painting, and more.
The Best Halloween Costume Party In The Quad Cities Is Also This Friday
Before we tell you what's going on in downtown Davenport this Friday at the fina Fright House After Dark in October, just a reminder for you adults out there that our annual Halloween Ball is this Friday too.
Join us at The Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds on October 27th for:
- Free food from Smokin Butt BBQ and Wise Guys Pizza from 6-9:00 p.m.
- Live Music from Soulstorm and Hairbanger's Ball!
- The Best Costumes in the Quad Cities Competing for big cash.
- Two $500 first-place prizes (Group and Individual) and cash prizes for the Top 10.
- Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

This event is free and happens from 6- 9 p.m. this Friday at the Freight House in downtown Davenport.
