QC Teacher of the Week Fall 2022

Mrs. Engelmann was nominated by Kaden Miller. Kaden said,

Mrs. Annie Engelmann at Edward white elementary school in Eldridge. She is the art teacher. She's my favorite teacher because she is nice and funny and she also genuinely cares about her students and she deserves to be recognized for all she does for the students and the school.

When we surprised Mrs. Engelmann, she told us,

I am the lucky one! I get to teach these incredible kids and it's the best job in the world. It's better than working at Disney World!

Awesome job, Mrs. Engelmann! For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Engelmannhas been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack which included a B100, stickers, pop sockets, koozies, Bubbl'r from Pepsi, and more things, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes

Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Mrs. Engelmann!

It's pumpkin pickin' time in the Quad Cities. Pumpkins make great fall decorations and they are obviously fun to carve. If buying a pumpkin at a store doesn't cut it and you want the full experience of a pumpkin patch, we have the full list of pumpkin patches throughout the Quad Cities. If we are missing any local pumpkin patches, email us here.

The Best Places To Watch Iowa Football Games

We have gathered 15 places around the Quad Cities where people LOVE to watch Iowa Football games. Many bars with owners that are Hawkeye fans have specials on game days. Cheaper beer, special dishes, and even free shots when Iowa scores a touchdown.

We asked listeners where their favorite place to watch Iowa football was, and here is what they suggested.
