Western Illinois High School Counselor Honored For Helping Kids, Communicating With Parents

The Fall 2025 semester is rolling on and as kids are studying hard, we're going out for our surprises with Ultimate Chocolates to highlight and reward a deserving Quad Cities teacher.

It's now time to announce this week's B100 & Ultimate Chocolate's QC Teacher of the Week!

Congrats to Shavonne Singleton, counselor at Rock Island High School!

Ms. Singleton was nominated by the parent of a student at Rocky, Vanessa. She said in her nomination:

I want to nominate Shavonne Singleton, Rock Island High School counselor. School has been in for a month and a half and my son has been having a rough year. She has gone above and beyond to help my son with anything he needs and as well with any questions me as a parent has. Anytime my son has needed help I know she is always there to help. THE BEST AT ROCKY . Would be an honor for her to get picked for B100 Teacher of the Week.
