Riley Is Closer To Finding A New Home

Yesterday, I blogged about the need to find my boxer Riley a new home. You can see the story here. Now that our 10-month-old baby Kamdyn is crawling, Riley tends to follow her and knock her over. When Riley licks the baby Kamdyn breaks out in a rash.

So my wife and I decided since so much of our attention is focused on the baby, Riley  would be better off in a home where she could be more the center of attention.

I'm amazed at the overwhelming response from our listeners and friends on FB. I've had six offers so far to take Riley, mostly from people who have boxers too and would love to give her a good home. We are looking for a home with nice people who would spoil her like I was able to do before the baby arrived last April. So, this weekend, Riley and I will be meeting lots of new people and dogs, to see where who she will go live with. I'll keep you posted on the process.
