These days, it seems like every new show that comes on is either produced by or hosted by a celebrity who gets it because of their fame. But you don't have to be famous to host this show — you just need to be a Rock Island resident who loves the city!

In an announcement on their Facebook page, dphilms revealed that they are partnering with DARI on a new project called "Rock Island Forward." It is intended to "show off the people, places and pride of Rock Island," and as such, they want a proud local to host it!

Applicants must be over the age of 18, have proof of Rock Island residence and a resume of qualifications. One important thing to note: on-camera experience is NOT a required qualification.

Applications must be submitted no later than this Friday, July 5th. To see the full application process and requirements, click here.
