As we head into the holiday season, you might be finding yourself a little strapped for cash and looking for a new (or second) job. There's always retail jobs, as they're staffing up for the mad rush of the holidays, but a lot of those are generally temporary.

If you need something a bit more permanent, you might want to check out the Rock Island Arsenal. According to the Quad City Times, the Arsenal is adding 50 jobs, listed as "human resources professional positions."

It's an exciting trend, as the Arsenal added another 160 jobs in the human resources area in 2018. Per the Quad City Times' report, these jobs have all been through the U.S. Army's Civilian Human Resources Agency in an effort to support the Defense Health Agency.

In creating these jobs, U.S. Rep. Cheri Bustos, D-Moline, has said that the hope is that the positions go to Quad City locals.
