The teen wanted for murder who fled and was found in Ohio, made his plea in Rock Island County court today.

The murder in Rock Island shook parents, schools and students. It made me extremely sad to see how far a disagreement between two teens went.

According to WQAD.com,

Kire Carr, the 17-year-old charged in the shooting death of a 15-year-old has pleaded not guilty.

Carr appeared in Rock Island County court on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, where he entered the not guilty plea to first degree murder, court records show. The teen was accused of shooting Jescie Armstrong at a home near 20th Avenue and 5th Street in Rock Island on Wednesday, April 27. 

Carr is being held at a detention home in Galesburg, IL. with bond set at $1 million. A jury trial date is set for June 27, 2016.
