Severe storms, tornado disrupt Quad Cities

Last night, residents in several counties in and around the Quad Cities were told to seek shelter as severe storms, hail and tornados made its way through the area.

I was watching WQAD and saw some huge hail being reported, funnel clouds forming, and intense rain pounding the pavement. Props to the people brave enough to capture those images - God knows I was in hiding!

The storms caused quite a lot of damage in the area - including 1,300 people still without power Wednesday morning.
