Gwen Stefani came back in a big way in 2005, and her song "Hollaback Girl" was #1 TEN YEARS AGO today!

Gwen Stefani had made a name for herself as the lead singer of the rock band No Doubt. However, she'd never had success as a standalone artist. That all changed with the release of her solo debut Love. Angel. Music. Baby. in late 2004.

Stefani teamed up with well-known producers such as Pharrell Williams, Dr. Dre, and Andre 3000 to craft one of the most successful albums of the year. Love. Angel. Music. Baby. spawned six singles total, but "Hollaback Girl" was by far the biggest hit, reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks in 2005.
