Remember in grade school when it was Valentine's Day and it was SO exciting to go to the store and buy Valentine cards for your whole class? Deciding what person gets which card was always incredibly stressful. For instance...

One year I bought *NSYNC Valentines and it was known that I had the hots for Justin Timberlake (I mean, who didn't?!) and I wanted to play it cool with my crush, but I also wanted the kid to know where I stood. Ballsy as it may have been, the only JT Valentine I gave out that day was to him and I threw the rest away. After all, I couldn't risk the chance of Steve, Marty or Dillon getting a mixed signal from me.

Ahhh... Third grade logic at its finest.

My diabolical Justin Timberlake Valentine plot didn't work out in the long run (thank God), but it did remind me of how awesome those Valentine cards were, which got my creative juices flowing.

Joni Mitchell from 104.9 The Hawk and I put our heads together to come up with some more adult versions of our grade school Valentine cards. The best part? They include everything you LOVE (or can't stand) about the Quad Cities.
