The Quad Cities Favorite Action Movies

We've looked at the QC's favorite horror movies, comedies, and Documentaries. Today we continue our journey of movie genres with Action Movies! This is gonna be Jam packed!

4. Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

A lot of people in the Midwest loved this movie and it's simple plot. In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, a woman rebels against a tyrannical ruler in search for her homeland with the aid of a group of female prisoners, a psychotic worshiper, and a drifter named Max.

3. The Terminator (1984)

All classic that many Action movie buffs love. Staring one of the biggest names in action. The plot is simple as well. A human soldier is sent from 2029 (only 9 years away!)  to 1984 to stop an almost indestructible cyborg killing machine, sent from the same year, which has been programmed to execute a young woman whose unborn son is the key to humanity's future salvation.

2. John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum (2019)

A series that just keeps getting better! The plot is fun and easy to follow. John Wick is on the run after killing a member of the international assassins' guild, and with a $14 million price tag on his head, he is the target of hit men and women everywhere.

1 Mission: Impossible (1996)

Hard to beat a classic. Who could forget that sound track! An American agent, under false suspicion of disloyalty, must discover and expose the real spy without the help of his organization.
