Hopefully your liver has recovered from St. Patty's Day because April will feature Tour de Brew QC!

Tour de Brew will be on April 30. It's a bike ride along the Mississippi River, with stops that have music, drink specials, and activities for cyclists. Not only is it fun, but it's also helping out a good cause. Tour de Brew raises money for cancer nonprofits to help QC residents. This year, it will benefit LIVESTRONG programs at the YMCA's in Rock Island and Scott Counties and it will also benefit Children's Cancer Connection.

The ride will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on April 30 and will start and end at Icons Martini Bar in Rock Island. It will have multiple stops and the route will go on both sides of the river. Icons will have their Bloody Mary bar open at 9, and riders will get a breakfast burrito. Cody Road will play at Icons at 5:00.

In the last seven years, Tour de Brew has made significant contributions to cancer programs. The ride launched in 2014 and it has raised over $120,000 for exactly that. Tour de Brew keeps you updated on stuff via their social media so go find them for the latest on the ride.

If you'd like to ride this year, it's $45 (which includes some swag stuff). To register for Tour de Brew, here's the link. Once you're registered, the exact route with stops will be emailed to you the week before the ride. If you'd like Tour de Brew bike jerseys, those are on their website as well.
