A tradition for generations and one of the biggest attractions in the Wisconsin Dells for the last seven decades has done its final show. The Tommy Bartlett Show is yet another victim of COVID-19.

The Tommy Bartlett Show decided in May to cancel the 2020 season due to the pandemic. Now, President and co-owner Tom Diehl, says he had no choice but to close the Lake Delton show for good with the uncertain future of the pandemic. Diehl had been with the water-ski, sky, and stage show for 54 of the show's incredible 69 years.

In a media release, Channel 3000 reports Diehl said,

Each fall, we begin to plan for the next season, and with so much uncertainty surrounding the future of the pandemic and travel, we cannot undergo additional financial risk and investment to begin planning for summer 2021. While we are grateful that we have had almost seven decades of entertaining visitors in Wisconsin Dells, we have no choice but to close the Show.

The closing of the Tommy Bartlett Show is a huge loss for the Wisconsin Dells and families who make the short trip from Iowa or throughout Wisconsin to visit. I bet you've been there with your family. If you have, share photos and memories below.
