Truck-Eating Bridge Strikes Again

Driving around earlier today when I saw something I haven't seen for a while... a truck stopped in the middle of Brady St in Davenport with its entire top missing.

Yes, it seems like forever since one of our beloved bridges has had a snack, but today's snack was more like a meal. That is, if the meal was a can of tuna and the bridge used it's sides to open the can to feast.

I know Uhaul has a policy where they make it very clear that you are not to drive their trucks under certain bridges in the Quad Cities. No clue if Penske has the same policy. If they don't now, they should adopt one soon.

I didn't see the driver to ask him if he felt like a dumbass, but I was able to get some killer pics. Check them out below.
