Two Eastern Iowa Women Win Over $50,000 With The Iowa Lottery
With St. Patrick's Day coming up, finding a leprechaun with a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow or just some luck of the Irish should be a little easier. One woman in eastern Iowa found her some luck close to St. Patrick's Day as she is quite a bit richer after claiming her prize from Iowa Lottery.
A woman in Clinton, Iowa has a few more bucks to buy a round of Irish Car Bombs this St. Patrick's Day. She claimed her winnings last week and the bank account isn't going to be upset when it sees this check come in.
Who is the Winner from Clinton?
In a press release from the Iowa Lottery, Alexis Caples won the 33rd top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "Wild Bingo" scratch game. She won herself $25,000 in that single scratch game.
Where Did She Buy the Winning Ticket?
Caples purchased her winning ticket at Casey's along Highway 30 (1336 Camanche Ave.) in Clinton. Last week on Friday, she claimed her $25,000 winnings at the Iowa Lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.
Dubuque Woman Also Wins Big
Alexis is not the only eastern Iowa winner. Joan Backes of Dubuque won $30,000 last week after buying a "$30,000 Crossword" scratch game. She bought her ticket at the Big 10 Mart, 3300 Asbury Road in Dubuque.
Backes $30,000 win is the fifth top prize in the Iowa Lottery's "$30,000 Crossword" scratch game. She claimed her prize last week on Wednesday at the lottery's Cedar Rapids regional office.
