WATCH: ’80s Video Game Characters Get Their Revenge In “Pixels” [TRAILER]

Adam Sandler has not had a good run at the box office lately. But in an era where nostalgia is more popular than ever, Pixels might be the film that turns things around.

Classic 1980s video game characters are sent to attack Earth after originally being sent into outer space in a time capsule in 1982.

Sandler plays a former Pac-Man World Champion who enlists the help of Kevin James (Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2), Josh Gad (Frozen), and Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) team up to take down Centipede, Donkey Kong, The Smurfs and more.

As a kid who grew up playing sucking at these games, I can't wait to see this!
