WATCH: Moline Woman’s Car Almost Stolen Out of Parking Lot
Monday night, a customer of Yabba Dabbas House Of Glass was inside the store when a vehicle of men rolled up into the parking lot, and two of men tried to steal her Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"If you create a reason for cops to be in my parking lot, I will absolutely release all footage of you," Heather Dabbas, owner of the shop, wrote with the video she shared to Facebook.
The vehicle was sitting, running without the key inside, and a white Ford Explorer, which commenters are saying looks like a previously stolen vehicle, stopped next to the car.
A man in a gray hooded sweater jumped in the driver's seat and a red-shirted male with a face mask on jumped in the back seat.
The not-so-dynamic duo backed the vehicle up a few feet, but before it could get out of the parking spot, the vehicle's no-key security feature kicked in, stopping the vehicle where it was.
Just before the customer could come out to the parking lot, the Explorer looped back around to pick up the attempted thieves.
But then, for whatever reason, one of the two jumped back in the Cherokee and looked to be rifling through the compartments of the vehicle to find something to steal.
As the customer came out of the business, once the thieves saw her, jumped into Explorer and made an escape.
