When you're driving on the interstate, you don't really expect a turkey to come crashing into your windshield, but for a Linn County man, it happened last week. According to KCRGthe Linn County Sheriff's Office reported a Dodge van was going south on the interstate when the vehicle's front window was struck by a wild turkey. The impact of the turkey on the front window caused glass to enter the van and hit a passenger in the front seat. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No word from the Sheriff's Office on the condition of the turkey.
