Winter is coming but snow plows in Moline are more than ready for it with some hilarious names.

Earlier this year, there was a contest to name some of Moline's snow plow fleet. Because why shouldn't snow plows have a fun name? Cleaning snow off the road isn't super glam but you can at least have some fun with it. The city has released the top 10 names that will plow the snow off of Moline roads this season and get ready...winter doesn't stand a chance against these guys.

It's 10 snow plows. It's 10 excellent names that came out of your punny, convoluted humor.

Meet The Fleet

First, pictured on City of Moline Public Works' Facebook page, it's the mighty Ice Breaker (kinda low on the punny scale compared to the rest of the fleet fam but I'll hang with it).

Peep the plow's name on the driver's door.

Serving the city of Moline, we also have these fearless snow plows:

  • Fast and Flurryous
  • Plower Ranger
  • Darth Blader
  • Buzz Iceclear
  • Lightning McClean
  • Big Le-Plow-Ski
  • Blizzard of Oz
  • Plow-cado on 5th

And my personal favorite:

  • Ctrl Salt Delete

The creativity is fantastic, excellent work. If you happen to encounter any of these majestic machines while you're trying to scoot to work this winter, you can look at the driver's door to see who exactly it is you're riding beside. And also, obviously, be careful driving in snow and slush and winter crap and definitely clean the snow off of your car before you head out.
