Wisconsin Residents Now Really Searching How To Move To Canada
The 2024 Election has come to an end and former President Donald Trump is the President-elect. Trump will become the 47th President of the United States in January.
While Trump and the Republican party clearly had a landslide victory against Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic party, those that voted blue clearly took the loss hard like they did in 2016 when he won.
That video is from 2016 but his video from a Harris supporter is from the 2024 election.
Clearly, a lot of people who voted Democratic have a lot of emotions about Trump winning this year's election. Some people are even going as far as to look up how to leave America and move somewhere else.
With a little less than half of America voting for Vice President Harris, a lot of them have begun searching how to leave the country. The website Casino's.com did some research and found that Americans are 15 times more likely to move to our neighbor to the north than any other country.
As you can see in the graph above, November 6th saw a massive spike in the phrase "move to Canada" on Google. On average in America, Google Trends for that phrase is at 6.5.
Wisconsin Residents Are Searching On How To Move To Canada
The study broke down which states are researching the most on how to move to Canada. They gave us the top 25 states and in the top 10 states searching that is none other than Wisconsin.
Wisconsin may be looking up how to move to Canada following the 2024 election, many people are also looking up how to move to places like Mexico, Europe, and Australia.
Stats were broken down to show just how big of a spike "move to Europe," "move to Australia," and "move to Mexico" had on Google Trends on November 6th when people found out that Trump won.
You can see the massive spike as we inch closer to 2025.
Donald Trump will become the 47th President of the United States on Monday, January 20, 2025. The election will be certified on January 6th and Vice President Kamala Harris will be in charge of that process.
