So Valentine's Day is rolling around, and you're super single this year. It's not a big deal, because you're totally fabulous with or without a significant other, but maybe you still want something to do. There are already hearts everywhere, and maybe it's gotten you in the mood to celebrate (or anti-celebrate). Well, we're here to help! We put together some ideas to help you out. So whether you love or hate Valentine's Day, hopefully you'll have a good one despite your relationship status.

1. See a show.

The Quad Cities are full of theaters you may or may not know about, and I don't mean the movie kind. The Establishment (the same place where ComedySportz performs) is putting on Shots 2 The Heart: Terrible Tales of Dating Disasters. What could be better for a single person to relate to? Get your tickets to this awesome comedy here.

2. Go skating.

Who says skating is only for couples? Some of my best nights were spent strapped into a pair of skates and laughing with my friends as we fell on our butts. So whether it's ice skating at The River's Edge or roller skating at Skate City, this might be a great activity to try. Skate City is even going to be open late with Adult Skate hours, so why not?

3. Play a drinking game.

Instead of inviting your friends over to sob at some goofy love movie, invite them over to drink to it. There are plenty of drinking games to be found online to just about any movie or show you can think of, or you can make your own. This could turn a movie that would otherwise make you sad into something fun.

4. Play Tinder bingo.

A funky option that can be a lot of fun. This game plays on the clichés that many women run across when sifting through Tinder. The internet is chock full of Tinder bingo cards that you can look up and play with your friends. Just download the free app if you don't already have it and start swiping! (This one can be turned into a drinking game too if you like) And who knows? Maybe a year from now you'll be spending your Valentine's at Bix Bistro with your new bf/gf like all the other couples.

5. Go out.

Valentine's Day is a Sunday this year, but that doesn't mean you can't have a few drinks. Some bars, like 11th Street Precinct, will even have karaoke that night. So head out with some friends instead of sitting home alone and have a good time! Just be cautious: every sitcom ever has named Valentine's Day as a night for eager dudes to go out and find girls who are sad and lonely. This may or may not be your case, but if you do go out with your friends, have a plan in mind so you don't get ignored by the people you came with. Been there, done that, and it's no fun.

6. Pamper yourself.

No one maybe loving on you this year, and you deserve some loving, so why not do it yourself? Take the money you would have spent on a bf/gf and spend it on yourself. Get one of those heart-shaped pizzas and have it all to yourself. Check out a local salon or spa for Valentine's specials. Buy yourself flowers, not because you want people to think someone sent you flowers, but simply because you like them.

7. Spread the love.

Do something nice for someone in a non-romantic way. Buy $5 gift cards to Hungry Hobo or something and pass them out to people who look like they could use a pick-me-up. Volunteer with a favorite organization. Call your parents or grandparents or whoever else you haven't talked to in awhile.

Well those are our favorite Valentine's Day plans for singles! Do you have any that we missed?
