Sushi is probably my favorite food, so I was a little disheartened to see the lack of Japanese restaurants when I first moved to the Quad Cities. Luckily, Fuji Sushi & Hibachi just opened in the site of the old Riefe's Restaurant on Locust Ave.

I checked out Fuji Sushi's menu, and it looks pretty promising. Their basic rolls start off at just $4.25, with more elaborate Chef's Special rolls ranging from $7.95-$11.95. They also have hibachi dinners, fried rice, appetizers, and other Japanese specialties, like chicken and shrimp teriyaki.

The owners of Fuji also own Sakura Express in Bettendorf, which has really good takeout-style sushi, so I'm looking forward to having a nice sushi dinner at Fuji, complete with a mai tai.

Fuji also offers online ordering, which is perfect for picking up sushi on your way home from work. I'll definitely be utilizing that feature as well.
