Bettendorf Community School District wants to know what design you like best for their mascot.

They're the Bettendorf Bulldogs and they will hang on to that but they want the input of the community, alumni, and students on what design they should have for their mascot.

Besides the overall design, it varies in different drawings of the bulldog and also different typefaces.

The mascot survey by Bettendorf Schools says this about the new design:

Over the years a number of bulldog graphics have been used throughout our high and middle schools. Our most commonly used bulldog graphic is clipart used by many high schools and colleges. We'd like to raise the bar and develop a bulldog that is unique to our district and consistently represents BCSD, determine a typeface for our graphics, and have a branding guide for the use of district graphics.

The graphic options, according to the school, were designed by Rickabaugh Graphics, which is a branding company that has worked with the University of Iowa, NFL and other K-12 school districts in Iowa. On the survey page, you can click through their slideshow of possible athletic logo designs for Bettendorf.

The new branding process started in the fall with the school hosting focus groups with their students, staff, and community members and the feedback from those was given to the graphic designers.

If you want to provide your input on their new branding, get on it. You have until May 10th to submit Bettendorf's mascot survey, which you can find at this link.
