Clinton’s 4th Of July Festival Is Still A Go
Clinton is still planning to have their 4th of July celebration this year, despite many other celebrations, fairs, and events being cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
We can say for sure that there will be at least one firework show in the Quad Cities area this year. Officials from the Clinton 4th of July Festival announced on Wednesday that they will continue with their plans to celebrate America's 244th birthday.
Officials from the Clinton 4th of July Festival announced on social media the schedule for the 4th of July. They will start they 4th of July festivities at 8 a.m. with a wiffle ball tournament. The volleyball tournament will follow at 9 a.m., and the bags tournament after that at 10:30 a.m.
Random Tanner and the Firesquad will perform at 7 p.m. Fireworks to end Clinton's 4th of July Festival will happen shortly after dusk.
Officials say that the Clinton 4th of July Festival board is concerned with the well-being of the public and community. They ask anyone who attends to use caution and to practice social distancing during all parts of the 4th of July Festival this year.
