Sometimes we forget how simple it is to put a smile on someone's face.

Olivia McCormick is turning four and has only one wish - for you to send her a birthday card. The best part? She lives right in Davenport!

The cutie was diagnosed with congenital pseudarthrosis of the fibula - a condition where bones break easily. The breakage often takes awhile to heal, if at all.

According to her Facebook page, Leg Up for Olivia, her fibula has been fractured since she was 7 months. This past October, Olivia underwent two surgeries hoping to fix that same fracture and her family is hopeful that good news is on the way.

In the meantime, Olivia will spend her 4th birthday in a cast so the family is looking to you to help their daughter have an extra special day.

The family also asked for cards last year for Olivia's third birthday and she has since made a book of them all and looks through it quite regularly.

If you would like to help this Quad City cutie feel better for her birthday, you can send your birthday well-wishes to:

1502 N. Blanchard

Davenport, IA 52804

You can also help Olivia's family by donating to their GoFundMe.com page.

Don't forget to send Olivia a birthday card if you have time. Less then a month and my brave baby girl will be 4! It's been a long, hard, 4 years.
