Davenport Releases Music On The River Concert Schedule
It's feeling like summer outside and that means it's the time of year to enjoy some outdoor live music.
The City of Davenport has released the schedule for the Music On The River Concert Series that's held in Petersen Pavilion at LeClaire Park at 7:00 p.m. The first concert will be on June 11th. All of the concerts are free to attend and there will be food and drinks available.
Now that the river is finally back in it's banks, we can enjoy some live riverfront music! There will be two concerts in June, 3 in July, and the last concert in the pavilion will be on August 23rd.
Luckily you won't have to break the bank if you want to do fun stuff around the QC this summer. If you're looking for fun free stuff to do with the littles this summer, you have plenty of options. Besides the Music On The River Concert Series, Davenport will also have their Party in the Park events, Bettendorf will have it's Be Downtown celebration on June 3rd, and both Davenport and Bettendorf will have Movies in the Park on select nights this summer. Davenport also has Fejervary Family Fun Days, YouthFest on July 13th, and watch for pop-up performances at Vander Veer Botanical Park from the Quad City Wind Ensemble.
Of course, there's the iconic Red White and Boom! on July 3rd that will feature a cornhole (or bags, whatever you call the game) tournament. You can register a team to compete in that on the city's website.
