Davenport Woman Scratches Her Way To $100,000
You never know when luck will shine down on the Quad Cities. Stephanie didn't know that a simple stop into the Kwik Shop would have her cashing in $100,000 from the Iowa Lottery.
Stephanie Holt has won the sixth top prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “$100,000 Mega Crossword” scratch game. She purchased her winning ticket at Kwik Shop, 201 W. 53rd St. in Davenport, and claimed her prize Friday at the lottery’s Cedar Rapids regional office.
The $100,000 Mega Crossword is a $10 scratch game that features 38 top prizes of $100,000. By that math, this means there are still 32 big winners out there to be scratched in Iowa. Could there be another one floating around the Quad Cities? We could be the Mega Crossword capital of Iowa.
Congrats to Stephanie on winning big with the Iowa Lottery! Hopefully we can hear some more good news about other Quad City Iowa Lottery winners soon. If you are one of those big winners let us know so we can share the luck with the rest of the QC!
