Davenport’s Youth Fest 2023 Postponed Due To Severe Weather
Severe thunderstorms have been moving through Iowa and into Illinois throughout the early morning on Wednesday and are expected to continue throughout the day. Because of this inclement weather, a popular event for kids in the Quad Cities has been postponed.
If you planned on bringing your kids, or your a daycare or school and planned to bring the kiddos out for a fun day at the Fejervary Learning Center in Davenport, you'll have to wait until next week for them to enjoy Youth Fest 2023.

YouthFest 2023 Postponed Due To Weather
On Wednesday, officials from the Davenport Parks and Recreation Department announced that due to inclement weather, Youth Fest 2023 has been postponed. This year's event was scheduled for Wednesday, July 12th at Fejervary Learning Center (1800 W 12th Street, Davenport) from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Because of the weather, Youth Fest 2023 has been postponed by 1 week to Wednesday, July 19th at the same location and at the same time.
Youth Fest 2023 allows kids to explore the natural play features at Fejervary Learning Center while enjoying music and visiting with over 30 vendors promoting fun-filled summer activities. Admission to Youth Fest is free!
During Youth Fest, participants will enjoy hands-on games, activities, and interactive displays. They can also end the day by cooling off at Fejervary Pool (general admission prices apply for the pool).
YouthFest is a yearly celebration that encourages youth involvement in constructive summer activities. Every year it's sponsored by Davenport Parks and Recreation and Davenport Community Schools.
