I am so over the fat-shaming. Really. Body image is only a small portion of who we are as people. The focus is on a roll or number on a scale instead of this. key. word. HEALTHY. Whatever happened to 'healthy?' Does the main portion of society as a whole not recognize this word? Do they not even realize what the word is? And in saying 'they,' I am referring to the internet trolls, the online bullies of our time and those who have an apparent, sharp-as-a-dull-razor (you know, the kind that won't even cut...sshh-----tomatoes. Yeah, let's go with tomatoes) skills of observation. Those dull knives always do the most damage. Ouch!

Good 'ol Merriam:

Full Definition of HEALTHY

1
:  enjoying health and vigor of body, mind, or spirit :  well

2
:  evincing health <a healthy complexion>
3
:  conducive to health <walk three miles every day … a beastly bore, but healthy — G. S. Patton>
4
a :  prosperous, flourishing

b :  not small or feeble :  considerable

What's this we see? 'Not small of feeble?' 'Well?' Society trolls are shaming Pink for being well, healthy, happy and for flourishing in life?!! What is wrong with people? Isn't that what we all truly want to achieve?

As Perfect as Pink's response to fat-shaming really is, there are a million perfect 'yous' running around, worrying about body image. Hey, I am no exception. I am not immune to worrying about how I look. I don't know anyone who really is. I do, however, often take a good hard look at how I FEEL. As I have learned the hard way in life, our emotional health (ooh! There's that word again!) is crucial and plays a very real role in our physical health.

Kelly Clarkson is not new to fat-shaming. I admire her courage to talk about it on the Ellen show:
