Family Dollar Recalls Crest, Banana Boat, Over 400 Products
A voluntary recall of over 400 products sold at Family Dollar, including ones like Crest Toothpaste, Tylenol, and more, has been issued by the FDA.
It's because the products were not stored at the proper labeled temperatures. The recall is in effect for items that were shipped to stores from May 1, 2022 through June 10, 2022.
There haven't been consumer complaints or reports of sicknesses yet.
The full list of recalled products includes over-the-counter medications, several different kinds of sunscreens, Listerine mouthwash, Crest toothpaste, Icy Hot patches, cough syrups, deodorants, and more. The recall involves name brands, like Tylenol, Dove, DayQuil, Neutrogena, Old Spice, and Banana Boat. You can find the full list of recalled products at this link.
The products that were stored at the wrong temperatures were inadvertently shipped to the Family Dollar stores in the above May-June timeframe. If you have any of the products on the recall list, you can return them to the Family Dollar store you bought them at without a receipt.
If you have had issues or sickness due to any of these products involved in the recall, you can report it by filling out the FDA's form at this link. If you do feel sick from any of the products, of course, the first one you should contact is your doctor.
If you have any more questions about the recall, you're encouraged to reach out to Family Dollar's Customer Service at 844-636-7687.
Earlier this year, Family Dollar issued a recall affecting hundreds of stores after over 2,000 rodents were found in a distribution center in Arkansas.
