The Figge Was Just Named the ‘Coolest’ Museum in Iowa

How cool is this?

Davenport's own Figge Art Museum was just named the "Coolest Museum in Iowa" by The Discoverer Blog.

The blog refers to the Figge as the "crowning achievement of Iowa's Quad Cities" due to the museum's massive international art collection.

"In addition to collections that feature American, European and Mexican artists, the Haitian Collection displays an impressive amount of island art from the 1940s to the present."

We have to agree- the Figge is really impressive and a huge asset to the area. We're lucky to have such a "cool" place right here in the Quad Cities.

The travel website listed the top museum in all 50 states. Museum of Science and Industry nabbed the title for Illinois.
