Aledo: July Fourth Celebration. Dr. Ford Frog race Saturday, July 4, 2015; fireworks at dusk, at Mercer County Fairgrounds, SW 12th Avenue and Illinois 17. Click here for info.

Bettendorf: Food and live music from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, July 3 on Spruce Hills Drive in front of Cumberland Square. Parade, festival with rides and exhibits, at the same location Saturday, July 4. Davenport: Red, White, and Boom set for Saturday, July 4, 2015. Events open at 5 p.m. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m., visible along the Mississippi River, with viewing areas set up at Modern Woodmen Park, LeClaire Park, Bechtel Park, Freight House Farmers Market parking lot and Community Health Care parking lot, and at the skybridge; followed by live music. For more info, click here. 

East Moline: Firecracker Run at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, July 4; parade at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 4. Fireworks at dusk Friday, July 3, 2015, at Riverfront at the Quarter, on 7th Street. Galva: Freedom Fest at Wiley Park: July 3 Garden tractor pull at 7 p.m., Beer Garden at 8 p.m. Events resume with a 5K run/walk at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, July 4 photography show at 9:30 a.m.  Patriot Guard Riders to escort WWII and Korean War Honor Flight participants in 4th of July Parade which begins at 11 a.m.  Fireworks display at dusk Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Galva Park District, 199 SE 6th Street. Get more info – click here.

Geneseo: Annual 4th of July Celebration, fireworks at 9 p.m. Friday, July 3 at Richmond Hill Park. Aisle of Flags display of 600 flags to honor veterans from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 4 at Geneseo City Park. More info – click here.

Grand Mound:  Daytime events followed by fireworks at dusk, at the ball park at 300 East Street, Saturday, July 4.   More info – click here. 

Kewanee:  Fireworks Spectacular on Saturday, July 4, 2015.  Free swim at the aquatic center, patriotic events and live entertainment beginning at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks at approximately 9:45 p.m.  For info, click here. 

Matherville: Annual Fireworks display at dusk Friday, July 3, 2015, over Lake Matherville. Rain date is Saturday, July 4.

Prophetstown: Annual Independence Day celebration. 5K run/walk, streetscape and concert in the park set for July 3. 3 on 3 basketball tourney and fireworks on the river set for July 4. For info, click here.
