Putnam Museum’s Rescheduled Free Day Is This Saturday
If you need something for the kids to do during this winter in the Midwest, this will be the perfect day to finally get out of the house... Check out free admission day at the Putnam Museum tomorrow!
According to our news partner, Local 4 News, tomorrow, Saturday, February 8, the Putnam Museum and Science Center is holding its rescheduled Chemistry Day. Originally the free admission day was planned for Saturday the 18th of January to celebrate National Chemistry Day, but canceled due to weather. Luckily, it was rescheduled to tomorrow.
Check out the brand new Putnam exhibit “OMg! Elements of Surprise,” where you’ll explore the building blocks that shape the world and learn about the Periodic Table. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can explore the museum and have fun in the field of chemistry. They will also have chemistry experiments preformed by Putnam Educators every hour from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The free admission day includes access to the museum and science center. The theater isn't included in the free admission day. Movie tickets will be available for purchase during the day though.
