Frosty Four Fun Run to support Bettendorf Food Bank
If you're looking to help support the Bettendorf Food Bank while getting some excursive, the Frosty Four Fun Run is for you. It's happening on Sunday, February 28 and registrations are being excepted now.
February has been a cold one, but temperatures are looking to be above average in the Quad Cities to end the short month. The warmer Febraury will make it great to participate in the Frosty Four Fun Run, presented by Bettendorf Trails Committee.
The Frosty Four Fun Run is taking place on Sunday, February 28th. The run is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., but officials say the actual run will begin at 1:15 p.m.
Registrations for the Frosty Four Fun Run is open. The registration fee is $10, with a portion of each registration fee going to the Bettendorf Food Bank. Those who register to participate will also receive a thermal mug and a Coffee Hound coupon.
Officials say that runners who participate need to meet at Devils Glen Park and check in at Devils Glen Park, Shelter #2 by the playground. Devils Glen Park is where the run will begin. The route will take runners 2 miles to Middle Park Lagoon, where they will turn around and return 2 miles back to Devils Glen Park.
The Frosty Four Fun Run is in fact for fun, and will not timed.
