Football is back in the Quad Cities! Last year, the Quad City Steamwheelers announced they were returning, ending a 12 plus year dry spell for football in the Quad Cities. Get the schedule here.

According to OurQuadCities.com, the team wants to say "Thank You Quad Cities" by putting their money where their mouth is.

At a ribbon cutting yesterday, the team announced each home game would help raise money for local high schools, with Davenport West being the first on February 25th.

That games featured high school will have their pep band playing in the stands during the game, and their marching band will play during half-time.
